CODA is Chang Office of Designers and Architects. In music, coda is the ending to a piece, which references the years of piano and clarinet that Jerome had played as a child. Coda can also mean a creative conclusion.
Jerome Chang is an architect licensed in the State of California whose projects typically are “tenant improvement” commercial spaces for offices and restaurants, and renovations for residences. Jerome has been based in Los Angeles since 2003, but hails from the East Coast, and born in Taiwan. He has worked at various small and large firms, gaining intimate experience in both rigorous corporate methods of drawing production and project management, and insightful ways of construction administration, permitting, and client relations.
Jerome Chang earned his Master of Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, his Master in Engineering (structural engineering) and Bachelor of Science (civil engineering) degrees from Cornell University. He is proud he also went to a public high school.
